Carefully selecting only the finest 'grano duro' (durum wheat), we extract the core, the purest part of the wheat, to preserve all the nutritional value and create a signature pasta with the renowned De Cecco taste and superior cooking performance that has earned the admiration of the world's best Chefs.
Shaping our pasta through bronze drawplates, we achieve a rough surface akin to homemade pasta, which allows for better sauce absorption and retention. To preserve the original color, flavor, and nutritional value of our durum semolina, we employ a slow drying process at low temperatures.
Committed to quality, we use cage-free eggs, which we meticulously knead with the durum wheat semolina to ensure consistency during cooking and a generous share of protein in the final product.
